Will there be increase of performance for a system that
has 2 graph cards in it?

I am planning to put 2 monitors dor my system, will the
multiple graph card do better? is there such thing as
parallel processing for 2 graph card?

Thanks,

Aldo

PS. if u have any idea can u pls email directly to me
since i'm not comfortable with newsgroup system.

I don not believe that the performance would increase. In fact I would
think it will decrease since two (2) hardware components would be requiring
Windows resources.

If you want to have 2 monitors, why not get a video card where you can
connect two monitors to. Most newer video cards have 2 VGA ports (one
standard and one with DVI to Analog VGA adapter).

I am running 2 graphics cards with 2 monitors with 1 GB of ram and I have
found no decrease in performance.

I run 2 monitors (embedded AGP chipset plus ATI PCI card) on a p3/500 and it
works great, but the performance increase is from not having to minimize
windows or move them around to get to other windows.

"Better" is subjective. I find I work a little quicker with the two
monitors; the system isn't faster, I don't think it's slower, *I* am
faster.
