I set up a Domain & Forest called CONTOSO.COM and DNS is running fine. I am attempting to create another Forest with it's own Domains on the same subnet called TESTKING.COM. The DC for TESTKING.COM is called SERVER1.TESTKING.COM. I can ping SERVER1.TESTKING.COM (is this using DNS cache?). Here's the challenge... I want to use the DNS name space in CONTOSO.COM. How do I go about setting up TESTKING.COM to use the same DNS Namespace of CONTOSO.COM ? I was told by someone that this could be done. Thanks!

In DNS server of contoso create new root zone called testking.com, enable
dynamic updates on it and point your DC's DNS settings in IP configuration
from testking.com to contoso.com DNS server. After you restart server or
netlogon service, it will populate DNS server in contoso.com with
appropriate records.
