Multiple files in one desktop shortcut

Seems like I was once (in Win95?)able to create a shortcut that would open
more than one file, such as two .xls files. The format was something like
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Excel.exe" and appending the file
path names. Am I just dreaming, or is this still possible in Win2k?

It's still the same - just give it a try!
 
You gave the answer yourself in your first post:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Excel.exe" followed
by the various file names you wish to open.
