I have an email account for home and for the office,
where the office SMTP is different than the home set.
When I run "Send/Receive", however, Outlook delivers a
duplicate of each email received. How can I stop this
from happening without actually deleting the email
account I'm not using at that time?

Thanks!

Explain why you are getting duplicates of your e-mails. SMTP has to do
with your outbound e-mails and has nothing to do with duplication of
received e-mails from a POP3 server.

You have one e-mail account defined to use your work's POP3 server. You
have another account defined to use your home/personal POP3 server.
Outlook polls all POP3 accounts unless otherwise configured and
aggregates their new incoming messages under the one Inbox. Again,
where does the duplication occur? You get messages from your work's
POP3 server and you get your messages from your home POP3 server. Are
they the same POP3 server?

If you have 2 e-mail accounts with the same POP3 server but you only
want to receive new messages through one of the accounts, make sure to
NOT enable the option in Outlook to leave messages on server. Then when
it gets yanked through one e-mail account, it won't also get yanked
again through the other e-mail account.
