multiple e-mails

I keep receiving multiple copies of the same e-mail over and over. I do not
have two Pop Server accounts but only one and I have outlook 2002. Help

If you have any anti-virus software scanning your incoming/outgoing mail -
disable it.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, frustrated one asked:

so now that I have disable my anti virus...what? I cannot leave it off
permanently.

No one told you completely disable your antivirus, just the email scnanner.

Thank you but I don't know 1) how to do that and 2) considering I'm part of a
rather large network I don't think they will allow me to permantly dismantle
the e-mail virus scanner.

Depends on the A/V product.

In large networks, the most prudent place to perform mail scanning is on the
server(s). Clients systems should not be burdened with that task.
