Hi,
I would like to be able to send e-mail from Outlook by using 2 different
e-mail addresses.

One e-mail is for use with my overseas customers, the other is for domestic.

I have tried to use the FROM field, but I don't like the "on behalf of" that
shows up when you e-mail.

What is the best way to do this? I don't want to have two separate
profiles....

Thanks.

Ed

Why not use OL for domestic customers and OE for overseas? I do something
similar and they're always open at the same time all day long...

;-)

If you have Outlook 2000 or earlier, it doesn't support
multiple email addresses very well. Outlook 2002 or
later though has a drop-down box available for the from
field (a la OE) when you go to send a message. If you
don't see it I think there's a View menu setting
somewhere.

Are you using the internet email setup in Outlook? If you
are then go to tools - accounts and add the second email
account after you set it up on your providers email
server. Most ISP's offer multiple email accounts (usually
up to 5) at no extra cost. You might have to contact them
to find out how to get the account set up. Then you can
choose which account to send the messages from off of the
action menu in outlook.

If you are using corporate email, then you need to
formally request a second account from your network
administrator and have them help you set up your pc to
access both accounts at the same time. But I believe this
will result in the same set up that "M" suggested except
you will have two instances of outlook open all the time,
one for each account.

I don't see an item on the Action Menu where I can specify
which account to use when sending a message.

Could you please clarify?

Thank you
