We update/revise our contact lists on single work station
and copy them into Outlook onto another system.
When we attempt to update the second system the original
address book appears to be removed suceessfully but
following an Outlook restart we end up with multiple
address books with the same name, the original still
exists and the revised book is availabe as well.
We are unable to remove or delete these original address
books.

I have not found any reference to this challenge on the
Microsoft support site.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dave

My apologies, Outlook 2002, SP2 with XP Pro, as the OS

Thanks, but the duplicates still remain.
It always occurrs when the "Select Names" dialog box is
opened, under the "show names from the:" is chosen.
The duplicates of the adress books are available for
selection

No, they'll go away. Did you restart Outlook?
Try again. It works.
