I have a question I wish someone can help me.. I have 3 users who are
in a different state and building.. We do not own the building and
just rent the space,, right now they use there internet line to access
our email server and TS through vpn..My users would like me to setup a
server for them so they can share files and use network printers on
that network.. My question is that, if I get them a server and setup a
domain for them to logon to can this work? I have no access to there
network and so wodering that if I connect a 5 port switch to one of
the network port and then connect the new server with a new domain
will this work.. Right now they are getting an ip address from the
companies dhcp server,, do I need to use the same subnet or different
one..
I guess what I'm looking for is a solution to give my 3 remote users a
server for mapping drives and file-sharing.. Should I use a workgroup
instead?
