Hello to all,

Is it possible to run two computers on a router, letting each be accessed
separately using Remote Desktop Connection. I thought it might be possible,
if maybe I used differenced ports for each pc? Can someone help? Feel free
to email or call me.

Yeah, as the other poster replied, change the port that RDC uses on one
of the machines and make sure that port is opened in the router's firewall.

Another suggestion is to leave a single machine open in the firewall and
then RDC to this first machine. Then from this machine, RDC to the
other second internal machine using its internal WINS or DNS name since
the first machine has access to the internal network. Works great in a
pinch w/o having to setup any firewall or ports! The speed is very good
as well.

A third alternative is to access the LAN via a VPN or SSH tunnel. That way
you only open one port on the firewall and you can access any PC through
that port.
