Multiple Desktop button

When I first installed XP Pro I had a button in lower right icons that
allowed me to choose from multiple desktop layouts.

I lost it.

How do I get this button back?

Is it avaliable in XP Home?

were the icons one green one and 4 blue and round ones with numbers?

if not perhaps it was some utility of the driver of your display adaptor.
Nvidia and ATI have some desktop managment software along with their
drivers.

Perhaps you are talking about the NVIDIA one....

www.nvidia.com you may be using the XP drivers and not the NVIDIA ones that
also come with a desktop manager....

It was a square icon . When clicked on by default it listed 1-9 desktops you
could select. In the options you could set how many desktops to choose from.

I have an ATI 9600 all-in-wonder.

Up to 9 virtual desktops sounds much like ATI's Hydravision utility.
(It has 9 virtual desktops by defualt - i reduce it to 2 or 3).

thats what I told him, that ati and nvidia have utilities for desktop
managment.....

all he had do to is look at the sites I provided
