Due to a number of issues that happening when I joined my computer to SBS
2003, I have ended-up with 3 different databases:

MSBusinessContactManager
MSBusinessContactManager2
MSBusinessContactManager3

Only one of them is the active database, but every time I try delete the
files associated with the un-needed database(s), I get an error telling me
that I can't do the delete because the files are open. That is not the case
in any way that I can determine. How do I delete these extra databases and
then how do I rename the working database back to the default name.

Hi Bill

Are you trying to delete the .MDF and .LDF files via Explorer? If so you
will not be able to because MSDE has a lock on the files.
The best way to delete unwanted Databases is to go to the Business Tools >
Manage Database Menu.
Click on the "Other Databases" Tab.
Deleting the database from this dialog will also delete the associated
database files.
** Also, please note that there is no undo/undelete - this is a permanent
deletion
