multiple Continuos windows opening

I was working online yesterday when I received the send
error report message, Upon reconnection to the web and
using a different browser IE 6 blank windows just keep
popping up at about the rate of 1 every 5 secs, I have
scanned the computer for a virus etc but cannot find
anything has anyone experienced this problem
