Multiple contacts against one company

Hello

I'm using Outlook 2003 and want to be able to enter 10 contacts against one
company. I know that you can do Actions and Create a new contact from same
company that way but that creates more than one contact card, whereas I just
want a single contact card for the Company and stored within that, all the
different contacts i.e sales manager, project manager and their phone
numbers. Is there a way of doing this? I thought about creating custom
fields but it seems that you have to do it every time for every contact - can
you store custom fields so that they can be used again?

Any help greatly appreciated. Sorry there are probably two questions there.

Many thanks

Anita

Not possible. OL is really set up for one person at a time. Some of its
interoperability with Word necessarily involves individual contacts, e.g.,
the Insert Address button in Envelopes. (Imagine addressing your envelope
to 8 people!) If you are determined, perhaps you can enter the names and
any other information in the text area of the contact form. That way you
can have the whole gang from one company on one card. Of course, you can't
click on a button to send an e-mail message to one of them (or even all of
them) and you can't click on another button to dial one person's phone
number.

On the other hand, having all the guys from one company on separate cards
has its advantages. You can send one guy and e-mail, a letter or call him.
Or you can search for her phone number. You can keep track of information
about them. And use Journal to track your e-relationship with each. And
when you want to see all the contacts at that company you simply change the
View to show contacts by Company. They will all be there. You can even
change the formatting of that view to suit your needs. Hope this helps!
