maybe this is simple...i dont know..i cant seem to find
any way to get the input im going for....

i have 2 worksheets..one for 2004 and one for 2003. the
column headings are as follows : month, quarter,
employee, store, department, sales. i need to be able to
compare the yearly figures to each other. but like in a
single pivot table i want to be able to compare the
yearly numbers for each employee, month, quarter, store,
and department. i have a pivot table set up for 2003 and
2004 seperately which work great.. but i need to be able
to compare the numbers in different categories for the
two years
thanks!!!!!!

You can create a Pivot Table from multiple consolidation ranges, but you
won't get the same pivot table layout that you'd get from a single
range. There's an example here:

If possible, move your data to a single worksheet, or store it in a
database, such as MS Access, and you'll have more flexibility in
creating the pivot table.
