multiple condition help thanks

distrobution list add 23 24 hour time open >24 background needs to be red
user add 23 24 hour time open >24 background needs to be red
software install 15 4 day time open >96 background needs to be red
distrobution list change 4 4 hour time open >4 background needs to be red
user change 4 4 hour time open >4 background needs to be red

if row a and b = 23 row e needs background color red
if row a and b = 15 row e needs background color red
if row a and b = 4 row e needs background color red
My problem is that row c does not exsist.i need to link the words
I have tried ifs with ands and nothing. Please help

Select all cells in e

Goto menu Format>Conditional Formatting
Change Condition 1 to Formula Is
Input the formula =(OR(AND(A1=23,B1=23),AND(A1=15,B1=15),AND(A1=4,B1=4))
Click the format button
Select the pattern tab, and click red
OK out

That should do it.

The numbers do not exsist. I need a truth table or someway of having th
different condition to equal the numbers. then have it > a set numbe
in another row. the numbers that are greater than the conditions, th
background needs to be red. Sorry for not explaining it thoroughly
