I have an email account for my small business that I would like to be able to
access from both my laptop and mty desktop. I have done this, but not all of
the messages are coming to both computers. Is there a way to make this
happen? Or should I be using a different program instead?

Have you tried the following setting for all of your computers ?

Tools > Accounts > your account > Properties > Advanced. Put a checkmark on
" Leave a copy of messages on server " > OK
It has to be done on ALL your computers.

On both machines:

Tools > Accounts > Mail > [mail account] > Properties > Advanced > Delivery
Leave a copy of message on server (check)

Tools > Accounts > Mail > [mail account] > Properties > Advanced > Delivery
Remove from server when deleted from 'Deleted Items' (check as
appropriate)

On one machine:

Tools > Accounts > Mail > [mail account] > Properties > Advanced > Delivery

Many service providers give you a POP3 / SMTP account by default, call
your ISP and ask if they do IMAP accounts and can they provide a website
address to help you get your settings in place. These kinda behave like
Yahoo and Hotmail where you can access the stuff from anywhere and your
replies show up on other machines. The other posters gave you one option
which works, but not perfectly, in fact I use that myself, but since you
run a business it might save you some time in the long run.
