Neil

I am new to Access and seek your help.

I have a database where I have entered Client Name,
Product Name and associated Funds. Also entered in the
Date on which the Fund value was calculated.

For eg.
Client A has 200M in Product X as on 30/6/04
Client A has 220M in Product X as on 30/9/04

so on and so forth for various clients and products.

In the report, I would like to see

Client A
30/6/04 30/9/04 31/12/04
Product X 200 250

Like the output of an excel spreadsheet.

How can I achieve this.

Can I also set a query to ask users to input the required
Quarters?

Thanks in advance
Neil

Check Help on crosstab query. There is a crosstab query wizard that should
get you started.

Thank you Duane. That was helpful.

One question arising from that is how do I sum the
columns that result

Client AProduct Y 400 300
Total 600 550

I can get the row sum but not columns.

Thank you
Neil
