My old card reader started doing this. Originally it showed drives H, I, J
and K. Then it started to show only H. It was pretty old so I bought another
but this again shows only drive H. Drive H which corresponds to the SD slot
works fine. I have tried it in different USB ports but it makes no
difference and I have also deleted all USB ports/hubs etc in device manager
and let them reinstall in case there is a conflict there to no avail. I now
sometimes get an error on windows shutdown cardreaderlookupwindow failed to
respond and it sounds related to me. Do you have any suggestions as to how I
might sort the problem? I am using XP Pro SP2.
TIA
