This has obviously been automically. Has anyone heard about this happening?
Using Outlook 2003/Exchange 2000

What has been happening? Please post details in the body of your post, not the subject.

Multiple calendars are automatically being created within Outlook and
Exchange for one person in the company.

Where? Outlook doesn't have any feature that would automatically create multiple calendar folders.

They are being created in the user's Outlook in Exchange

Sorry, but that doesn't tell us anything useful. You already said the user had Outlook and Exchange.

Tell us in detail about one instance: What is the parent folder of the new calendar folder? When was it created?

There are at least 30 Calendars underneath his mailbox. They are called
calendar. The parent would be his mailbox. So weird. How do you find out
the creation dates? I don't see that in properties

Again, we need details. "Underneath his mailbox" doesn't tell us the parent folder. Look in the Folder List navigation pane. Tell us where in the folder hierarchy these folders (or at least a few of them) appear.

You can determine the creation date using tools like MFCMAPI (free at support.microsoft.com) or Outlook Spy (http://www.dimastr.com/).

I'll attach a picture of the folder structure for you and figure out the
creation date and let you know tomorrow. Thanks so much for your help as
usual!!!

this is an old issue - what version of outlook is installed?

It happens when someone else opens the calendar - try removing create new
folder permission from the other users if you have the latest version.
