I have Vista with the new Windows Mail.
I have a question about the newsreader portion.
How do I download multiple attachments
at the same time ? I am not talking about
multiple files attached to a single post (1 header).
I am trying to grab lets say 30 attachments from
30 posts (30 different headers) at the same time.

If someone posts 30, 50, 100 images each with it's own
header, it would take forever to acquire them one by one.
There must be some way to get the entire set in one
simple operation. Like the way Agent newsreader does it.
I am wondering if the Vista mail- news program is just
Outlook express ver. 6 with a new shirt.

Please help me to understand how to do this.
Thanks
Mike

First question I'd ask is, if you have Agent why in the world are you
wanting to use Windows Mail?

About all you can do it then select Combine and Decode to put them in one
message and save the attachments.

If they are yEnc encoded, you will have find a yEnc Decoder as Windows Mail
does not support yENC.

Thanks for the help, that is what i was looking for,
it worked great. The reason that I am not using Agent
is because I have Vista 64 bit, and Agent has not been
optimized for it yet. It has some querks. I am getting these
images from (alt.binaries.pictures.rail) I don't think they
like Yenc files in there, so I shouldn't need the decoder.
Thanks again
Mike
