Hi,

I have 5 accounts in my OE. All of them is ok with incoming email. But I can
not send email from 2 accounts out of 6.

I have changed the port to read 25 to 110.

Please help.

Did you use the settings as prescribed by your ISP? Who is your ISP?
Please include a copy of the error message.

Hi Gary, here is the error msg:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject '', Account: 'Shirin at
RSN', Server: 'smtp.rsn1049.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL):
Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

This is a tough one. Although smtp.rsn1049.com is a valid mail server, I have
no way of verifying if it is supposed to work on port 465.
RSN1049.COM is a vanity domain for a radio station. The domain name is registered
through GoDaddy.com, and it uses GoDaddy's mail server, smtp.secureserver.net through
the alias smtp.rsn1049.com.

All I can advise you is to go back to whoever gave you those settings
and make sure they are correct.
If you can't make it work, you can substitute your ISP's SMTP server settings.
There is no requirement that the outgoing and incoming mail servers for a
given account have to be a matched pair.

Hi Gary,

Appreciate your help. I have 2 gmail and another my own company email
account is working fine under the same settings but 2 accounts are not
working and here is another one.

The connection to the server has failed. Subject '', Account: 'bmusictime',
Server: 'mail.bmusictime.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes,
Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Bmusictime.com is a similar situation as Rsn1049.com:
not an ISP, domain is registered through GoDaddy.com, but their mail server
mail.bmusictime.com is actually an alias for mail7.hsphere.cc. I doubt
that a small time hosting company like hsphere.cc would offer SMTP
service on port 465, or any port other than 25.

I suggest you substitute the Gmail SMTP server for both of the non-functioning ones.

Port 465 usually requires you to check the box on the Servers tab for the
account that your outgoing server requires authentication. And, on the
advanced tab check the box for SSL for the outgoing server.

Good luck. If they tell you that their SMTP server only works on
port 25, that will probably not work for you, in which case
use the workaround I gave you.
