In XP as you know has multiple user accounts. If I am in my account and open Outlook and view new e-mail that e-mail will only be veiwable in my account. The new mail that I have veiwed will not be visable in say my wifes account. How do I make the mail be visable in all accounts?

Set each installation to use the same Outlook Data file (PST file). You'd
need to post your Outlook version if you don't know how to do that.

First, you'll need to look at the properties of the root folder in one of
these installations to determine what the name and location of the PST file
you want to use is.
- Go to Tools > Options > Mail Setup > Data Files > Add...
- Add the PST you'd like as your new default, then Close > OK to exit the
Options dialog
- Go to Tools > E-mail Accounts > View or change existing e-mail accounts
- Select the PST you just added in the "Deliver New e-mail to the following
location" dropdown (it will most likely appear just below the current
default Personal Folders file) > Finish
- Exit and Restart Outlook
- You can now close the previous default PST (R-click on that pst folder
while in Folder View and select "Close <foldername> Folders"). If you have
any information in your former PST that you'd like to transfer to your new
default PST, you can drag and drop from one to the other before you close
the old one.

I am doing something wrong it won't work. Maybe I'm not looking at the properties of the root folder right
Would it look like this.....c:\documents and settings\steve\local settings\appliction data\microsoft\outlook.pst ?

Dude sorry I'm stupid......when I hit the add button there is no way to change it. It days personal folder pst. That is highlighted. If I double click on it a dialog box that says create outlook data file but it has no place to put the path.

You should just be able to browse to the location of the other PST file you
want to add and make your new default.

Of course there is.
Use either the Save in: dropdown or the Folder List on the left pane to
browse to the location of the folder you want to add.
