I have to manually scan each of my accounts with MSAS & apparantly this will
be fixed in the next beta but is it not also true that I have to scan each
individual account with Ad-Aware, Spybot and CWShredder as well?

I think those third party solutions already support scanning multiple and
limited accounts, here is the reason why it is not supported in MSAS yet:

Steve Dodson:
You have a limited user account running the application looking for spyware
on all files and folders. This includes the administrator account which
limited users may not be able to access. So we have to approach this
carefully in order to remove the spyware from all locations, but also
preserve file and folder permissions and access.

In short, we are addressing this for a future release, but it involves some
major coding and testing.

I'm pretty sure that when I scan theses other accounts I find more spyware
though, at least I did in the past, leading me to believe that they are not
multi user compatible. For example I have to run Ad-Aware under each account
to detect tracking cookies etc.

Cookie and dataminer detection is not supported in this beta 1 release,
hopefully by beta 2.
