Hi,

A quick question - how do I read a multipart Outlook
Express created message by Outlook XP? When I open it,
it shows messages as attachement but won't combine them?

This must be a common question a lot of people asked but
I can not find answers through the Help nor from
Knowledge Base?

Can anyone help me? It is very appreciated.

Thanks,
Ed

Hi,

Thnaks for the reply. I think you misunderstood my
question. I knew there is a "Combine and decode" in
Outlook Express and knew how to use it. My question is
to MS Office Outlook not the Outlook Express. It is the
Outlook that received the multipart message (created by
Outlook Express by sender) and make them as attached text
files without an document way to read them. I did try
using Help searching both "multipart" and "combine" but
failed. I found a way to manually combine them into one
text file and change the extention to "eml" and drag it
to Outlook Express to read them back. But I thought
there must be a better way that Outlook (not Outlook
Express) will handle it. I also tried to manully rename
the combined file the ".msg" and Outlook won't recoginize
it.

Do you know anyway that MS Outlook can read a multipart
MIME letter?

Any helps are very appreciated.

Thanks,
Ed
