Multimedia keboard buttons freeze pc

Hello,

I have this multimedia keyboard, that has the shortcut buttons, like
homepage, mail, calculator, etc. And these buttons used to work without any
special drivers.
I have not used them for a while, forgot about them.
Last time I used them I probably had sp2.
I wanted to use the calculator yesterday, and the computer froze up. I had
to punch the reset button.
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the driver, but that did not help.
Oddly enough, the sleep/hibernate button works, but when the pc wakes up,
it's still frozen.

Any suggestions in this regard would be great. Thank you.

Reinstall the drivers that came with it. I had to do that with my old HP MM
keyboard when I went to SP3.

I did not have any drivers come with it. It was working just fine with the
windows drivers.
