Does anyone know why a network card
would hang on a dual nic carded system.
The card drops its connectivity, but
does not show as disconnected. Also, a
simple disable and enable starts the
connectivity again. I cannot determine
if it is caused by windows settings or
the type of traffic that is being transferred
from the server.

Thank you

Hi John,

So far it is hard to say the root cause. We need to narrow down this issue
first:

1) Replace the network card which has this issue with another NIC, make a
difference?

2) Changing the PCI slot, make a difference?

3) Swap the 2 NIC, make a difference?

4) Did you check the Event Viewer? It may wrote down useful information.

By the above methods, we should be able to narrow down this issue. Please
let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.

More information maybe useful:
