I would like to configure a multihome web server using IIS
6.0
Question:
How do I configure the DNS record ?.
Thank you.
Mutlihomed?
Please Elaborate:
One NIC private and one NIC public or both public IPs?
Is this performing NAT also?
Part of an AD environment?
Is it also a DC?
Normally we'll give the public IP for a "www" record in DNS. That's it. You
also have the blank record, such as connecting to
http://yourdomain.com .
BUt if it';s a DC, that can alter the default behavior. If you are hosting
your zone on your DNS, then you'll need two DNS servers, one for public
data, one for private data.
