I am studying for 70-216 and quite a few of the practice questions are
concerning Multicasting. Although the books I have read don't share much
info about that topic. What do I need to know about multicasting to be
prepared for the test.

Thanks.

When to use it.
What it solves.
How Microsoft servers support routing it (and don't support it)
Difference between Router Mode and Proxy Mode
When/where to use each
When to use Ip-in-Ip tunnels to make it work
Restricting the propagation of multicasts through an MS router
type of Multicast boundaries
Multicast scopes (in Routing not in DHCP)
TTL (multicast ttl)
Difference between them
Multicast scopes in DHCP
what address ranges to use
how many addresses you need for x shows with y users

On a Windows 2003 Server (or with help files loaded on
a XP etc.) open help and run this query:

[ multicast checklist ]

Even if you don't find the checklist (or don't find it useful)
there are a few manageable article there which will give
you an overview if you insure you know the above topics.
