multi-workgroup sest up

I would think that this is a common idea, but i do not
see any documentation or notes... I have a notebook. I
use the notebook at the office and at home. Both
locations are networked. Is there a way to make the
laptop part of both networks?

Can I just name the two networks the same and have it
work? Do I need to create both a "User Office" and
a "User Home" profile?

Any thoughts? Thanks.

If both networks are peer-to-peer (workgroup) networks, you don't need
to do anything to access both of them. Computers can access each
other even if they're in different workgroups. To access another
computer directly, regardless of what workgroup it's in, type its name
in the Start | Run box, preceded by two backslash characters. Fore
example:

\\Notebook

To see the computers that are in different workgroups than your
computer:

1. Open My Network Places.
2. Click "View workgroup computers".
3. Press the Backspace key.
4. Click the desired workgroup.

Another possibility is to use a program that can store multiple
network profiles, allowing you to easily change your computer's
network configuration. Here are some popular ones:
