How can i stop this annoying alert? I have 4 users using
my XP-HOME computer. we use internet explorer version 6.
i have administrator privilages the other 3 do not. Each
user has a different internet home page address set. When
i log on everything is OK but when the other users log on
they receive an alert reporting an attempted change to
their home page. in reality the home page is not being
changed. MSAS appears to alert because the user's home
page is different to mine.

This beta is designed for one person to be logged on a
computer at a time, and all users who log on must be local
admins. You will probably need to try the enterprise
version when it releases as it would address this scenario
better.

Might have something to due with the fact that this
release doesn't support limited-user accounts.

One person in a previous post said other non-admin
accounts were receiving a warning message that
CoolWebSearch was trying to install, yet it wasn't, and
when he logged in under his admin account, nothing was
wrong.

From Steve Dodson:
You have a limited user account running the application looking for spyware
on all files and folders. This includes the administrator account which
limited users may not be able to access. So we have to approach this
carefully in order to remove the spyware from all locations, but also
preserve file and folder permissions and access.

In short, we are addressing this for a future release, but it involves some
major coding and testing.
