Installed the new version logging into XP as myself. Now all other users get
an error dialog "Unexpected Error" when they log on. What's this all about?

The current beta 1 release does not support scanning multiple user account,
its single user application in this beta 1 release, it should support
multiple account scanning and limited accounts in beta 2.

I am having the same problem
Microsoft AntiSpyware Version: 1.0.615 is working perfectly fine
But when install the new version I keep on gettin this Error message on my
computers other accounts

Is there a way to install this for only one user then so other users won't
get the error message?

I am having the same problem and have gone back to the previous beta to make
sure the other accounts on this PC are protected. As there are only 18 days
remaining on the old beta is microsoft going to fix this problem before the
1st Jan 2006?

I just started getting the same error today on one of my XP machines. I
don't have the problem on my notebook computer...just my desktop computer. I
can log onto an account whether it's "admin" or not and use MSAS without
problem on my notebook but not my desktop. I'm sure it's something I
installed that screwd up how MSAS operates. I just can't pin point it. I
installed a bunch of MS free download packs such as CalcPlus, Wallpaper
Changer PowerToy, Video ScreenSaver PowerToy which tried to download Windows
Media Player 9 but instead just froze the display properties dialogue box (I
already have WMP 10 installed anyway), RAW Viewer Setup, WinColor Setup,
Baseline Security Analyzer and the "Royale" Theme. I also tried a few
different trial versions of antivirus and antispyware programs such as AVG
Pro, G-Data AVK and SpySweeper. I tried doing a system restore to a point
before I installed all these programs but it was unable to perform the
restore...maybe CCleaner deleted some important system restore files.
Uninstalling everything I installed made no difference. I even tried
installing Sunbelt CounterSpy to see if it had a different result since they
are almost identical in design. I got the same exact error logging onto my
other accounts on my desktop as I did with MSAS...and they say the code is
different. Anybody here having the same problem recently install any of the
mentioned programs?

I don't think it is those programs you installed, and I don't think it is
anything you did. Obvious flaw by MS. See Error 1904 post for more info.
