At a customer sites I have a Windows 200 Terminal server with 2 network
cards.

The first card is connected to their network and has ip address 10.10.102.2

The second card is connected to an ADSL router (people from outside can
connect to this router to use terminal server). This card has ip address
10.10.103.2.

When I install an application this application will look for the Ip address
of the server and thinks that 10.10.103.2 is the right number. This is also
the number which I get to see when I ping the server from the server console
itself. How can force the other ip address to be the default? (10.10.102.2)

Network Places-->Properties-->Advanced(top menu)-->Advanced
Settings...(dropdown menu)-->In the Upper box,..using the side
arrows,...Move the Lan Nic (102.2) to the top of the List.

The top nic is the one the machine becomes "identified" by. Nics below that
are treated as secondary.

Be sure you network uses the right subnet mask,...the correct one should be
255.255.255.0 (/24). An incorrect one can be a disaster.
