Question:

I have a PDC with a DNS server (Ad integrated) in site 1.
The dns server is configured with forwarders and all the
machines in site 1 is using that dns server as primary and
secondary.

Now for site 2 I want a DC and a DNS server since the line
between site 1 and 2 is a 64k frame relay and I want them
to be in the same domain as site 1.

How should I configure the DNS in site 2 ?
Should I put site 1 dns servers as primary and secondary
dns on the site 2 nics, and in the site 2 dns server add
site 1 dns servers as forwarders in the dns ?

Or should I put the local site 2 dns servers as primary
and secondary on the nics and will the DNS information
between the servers be automaticly replicated since I use
AD integrated dns servers on both sites ? and in that case
should I use external (isp) dns servers as forwarders in
site 2 allso ?

(I have tried alot of diffrent ways and I seem to get RPC
Server timeouts ,"The RPC Server in unavailble" when
trying to do access the domain)

Best regards

I'd make all the clients in site 2 point to your site 2's DNS server, and
configure this server to use some forwarder for external name resolution.
The forwarder may be the server configured as a gateway between site 2 and
internet.

Talking about replication - if you use AD-integrated DNS zones, you do not
have to worry about replication as long as active directory replicates
successfully.
