Good Day. I have a report that comes from a query. I
would like the report to be across the page(2 columns)
instead of down, but simply changing the columns to 2 is
not getting me the ability to design like I need to. Is
there a way(other than a sub report) to have multi column
reports from one record source.

Thanks,

Yes, there certainly is. You use Print Setup from the File menu, click the
Columns tab, set the number of columns you want, and other information, and
the bottom-most section lets you choose Across then Down or Down then
Across. From what you write, I think you want "Across then Down" which is
the default.

Your print layout for a record must be narrow enough to fit in the column
you are defining, of course, or it may look strange.

If this does not give what you want, please clarify in a followup post.

Thanks for the response. Doing what you suggested does
not get me what I want. It is hard to explain, but I
will do my best.

I have 3 groups. Within the 3 groups there are sub
classes. I want to group by groups(1-3), then have the
classes side by side within the report. I will try a
demo:

Group 1

Class A Class B
Name Comment Name Comment

Group 2

Class A Class B
Name Comment Name Comment

And so on. I am not sure how this came across, but I
want to look at the information side by side, but just
changing the columns to 2 will jumble the data.

Make any sense?
