Multi Column Report

I have created a multi column report. Each column has
three sub columns of data in the detail.

xpart1 qty1 cases1 xpart2 qty2 cases2

The report looks very nice, but I need column headers for
the part, qty, and cases field.

I have tried a group header, but that doesn't repeate for
the second column. I get:

PART NO QTY CASES
xpart1 qty1 cases1 xpart2 qty2 cases2

What I need is:

PART NO QTY CASES PART NO QTY CASES
xpart1 qty1 cases1 xpart2 qty2 cases2

How do I get a header that repeates for each column?

Thanks in advance,

Hubert Hoffman

Hubert,
Just put this in your header... (A2K/A98
PART NO QTY CASES PART NO QTY CASES
and adjust the space between the two column headers until the
second set line up right over the column 2.
data... perhaps...
PART NO QTY CASES PART
NO QTY CASES
would line up just right...

That idea will work, until there is three or four columns
of data. Then I either have too many headers, or not
enough. I was hoping there was a way to get access to do
this for me.

Hubert,
I don't understand what you mean by...
Then I either have too many headers, or not enough.
If you have 4 cols across the page, then you'll need to lay
out 4 sets of text headers across the page, and adjust those left
or right to line up with the data in those 4 columns.
Access doesn't handle textual headers, just the data fields.
You have to physically type the headers and lay them out.
