I have 2 HDD in my system. Drive 1 is XP Pro and Drive 2 is Vista. The only
way I was able to install vista was to unplug drive 1 from the motherboard
and setup 2 as the first drive. I would like to be able to multi-boot between
the two OS. How can I modify the Boot.ini to achieve this?

Hi John,
I have XP pro sp2 on a 20gig drive and Vista RC1 on a 40gig drive and dual
boot using OSL 2000 boot loader which works flawlessly.
At boot-up you get a screen which gives you the choice of which drive and
which OS you want to boot. And when it loads in the OS the drive the OS is on
becomes your C: drive and the other drive your E,F,etc.
Just do a Google search for OSL Bootloader 2000 {also its FREE}

If you need any more info or help just shoot me an e-mail at:

and I will be happy to help.

Hi

If I install Vista booting from its DVD and chooses to install it in the HD
that is not the one with XP, it creates a boot menu with options for
"Microsoft Windows Vista" and "Old Windows System".

Never failed to me, for at least 3 Vista clean installs.
