I have successfully installed Windows 7. Did some weird things that I
didn't expect; but Windows 7 is working and my Windows XP is still
working; which I didn't expect. One other thing it did is change all my
drive letters whilst I'm in Windows 7; however; whilst I'm in Windows
XP; they are at their original state. Okay with me; just don't know how
that is possible!

I can boot to either operating system from the start up screen at boot
up. I know that there are boot managers out there. Is it possible with
one of these boot managers to flip back and forth between both operating
systems; with out re-booting??

The drive letter changing issue is normal.
If your curious download and install EasyBCD:

As to the second part of your question, the answer is no
unless your set up a Virtual environment.

You can change the drive letter allocation of either OS without affecting
the other.
