What you will need is either another hard drive, or a system utility program
like Partition Commander, Partition Magic, etc.
Create a new partition (check the user manual of the product), and shut down
when finished. Insert the CD at boot time, and when it asks for the
installation partition, select the new partition.
If the CD is not bootable, in XP English, insert the cd (create the new
partition, see above), and select Full or New Installation. When it prompts
you, select the newly created partition, and take it from there. During
installation, Xp Chinese will detect the other XP, and create a special file
that includes both operating systems, and will prompt you are startup.
At the next part, make sure you backup the file somewhere, preferrably to
floppy.
To make it easier at boot up, after installation, you need to edit the file.
Go to %systemroot%, or C:\ (where C is the drive letter of the Chinese XP),
and open boot.ini. Find the first copy where it says: \WINDOWS="Microsoft
Windows Xp Professional"
Change that to: \WINDOWS="Windows XP Professional Eng."
At the second one, change it to: \WINDOWS="Windows Xp Professional Chi."
Save, reboot. Select the Xp Professional Chi, it should boot to the Chinese
edition. If it doesn't, go and edit the file, swapping the Eng. and Chi.
Save, reboot, select Chi again, it should work.
There you go!
