I curently have Vista x64 set up on RAID 0 one set of hard drives and XP Pro
on another set of drives. While trying to set up my computer with a
multi-boot i ran in to a few problems and had a few re-installations to get
it to work. Now, when my system boots it offers me like four instances of
VIsta to choose from and then XP.

Obviousley, it should only show Vista/ XP. How do i delete the other
instances.

Also, since Vista x64 (and my motherboard) supports more RAM ,will a high
RAM value (8 Gig) impact XP Pro, or will it just ignore (black hole) what it
can't use.

BCDEdit

Download and install VistaBootPro or EasyBCD. Both will allow you to easily
remove entries you don't need. I do suggest you clear up naming the various
entries and test which ones need deleted BEFORE you proceed with the
deletions.
