Mulitple Excel Files

Ok, I have not iced that if you are editing a cell you can not open a
second file. We are using Office XP Pro. Every once in a while we are having
problems opening a second file even if we are not currently in a cell on the
first file. Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

One other person is having problems getting Excel to open. It takes about a
minute for it to open, any ideas?

That is Microsoft's way of making you concentrate on the task at hand. If
you open another file while editing a cell who knows when you will get back
to closing it.
