I love working in this software, but i would love to convert it to a different format to be able to burn a VCD
When I go to the file save as It gives no other option to save it as
If i go to a convertor/encoder I can not find one to recongonize this file. I am going crazy can anyone hel

Hi,

MSWMM is the project file and not the movie file. When you go to save the
movie, go to File | Save Movie File..., there you'll have some choices of
bitrates for WMV, or you can look under "other" and save as DV-AVI. You
should be able to convert one of these for a VCD.

When saving your movie, one of (Show More Choices > Other settings is
DV-AVI, which you can use in your other software.

The save movie file options is not available to me. it is there but not highlight ????

I have gotten saved by going to email attachement and it saved it as a .wmv now it looks fuzzy.

i don't mean to sound dumb but when i choose the save as Dv option it says my camera is not hooked up I would like to save on the computer with the videos clear. Or if i burn to vcd will ot be cleared on the TV
 
Try saving it to the first option 'My computer'. Maybe use the first option
in it for starters 'best quality' for playback on your computer

Then onto other options from there

Rendering a movie takes time.... so it'll be slow no matter which software
you use.... and the better quality you want, the more time it'll take

faster. This is kinda slow if you have alot of a pretty big file
