MSVCR80.dll missing in Excel 2007

I've repeatedly repair, uninstalled, reinstalled Excel 2007 (purchased
version) and when attempting to start I continually receive this error
message "EXCEL.EXE - Unable to Locate Component. "This application has failed
to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may
fix this problem."

It doesn't. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.
