I'm getting an error at the start up time "The dynamic
link library MSVCR71.dll could not be found in the
specified path...(the path)...". I could not find it any
where in my computer, What it means? How can I get this
file?
Please help me to resolve this issue. Thank you

Hi,

Try reinstalling the application that needs the file.

Did you Google? 2750 hits.
It is not an OS (W2K) file...

The application that is running at startup time requires msvcr71.dll, but it
failed to locate/install it.

Since msvcr71.dll is not a OS DLL, this is a problem with the particular
application -- you either need to reinstall/repair it so that it installs
msvcr71.dll, or you may need to otherwise obtain a copy of that file. If
all fails, you should contact support for the application having the issue
(when you see the error dialog, you should see in taskmgr the EXE process
that is failing (it'll disappear as soon as you click ok on the error
dialog) -- and you can go from there.)
