On boot up following msg is displayed msvc32iMFC
appl.encountered a problem. Also, when shutting down a
WINNET.exe failed to iniatilize. I have all critical
updates to date. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, whats the best way to block the pop ups?

Thanks,
Bob

It is a spyware component that you don't want. Would
advise you get Ad-aware and then run your system through a thorough spyware
scan. You'll be prompted to remove the spyware that is on your computer.

This file - msvc32i.exe - appears to be a part of ClientMan and has been
pegged as spyware.

winnet.exe is the executable for "CommonName Sidebar" from
www.commonname.com. Also considered to be spyware and uninstall is not
straightforward. Should find directions for removal at their website.

Should also use AdAware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com) on the system after
you've uninstalled what you can of these items.
