MSSTDFMT.DLL file

Can anyone help me locate this pesky file so i can download it ? When i try
to run a certain game application, i receive an error message informing me,
"you need the following file installed on your machine MSSTDFMT.DLL. Only I
have ABSOLUTELY no idea what it is, or where to find it.

MSSTDFMT.DLL should be located in your C:\Windows\System32 folder. Do a
file search to make sure the file exists on your machine in that folder. If
it exists, then it might just be a matter of re-registering the .dll file.
To do so, click on "Start||Run" and type(or copy and paste) the following
into the Run box:

regsvr32 msstdfmt.dll

Then click OK.

If the file does not exist in your C:\Windows\System32 folder, you can
obtain a copy of the .dll file from your Windows installation CD or do a
google search for the .dll file and download a copy of it from the web.
You'll have to register the .dll file after placing it into the System32
folder as described above.
