MSSpyware icon not showing in the taskbar area

The microsoft anty spyware icon is not showing in the
task bar icons area. I have verified the following:
1. The icon is not configured to be hidden
2. The opton to show the icon in the application is
checked.

Remark: the service is loading on startup however the
icon is not.

Any suggestions how to fix it?

"fixing' what should happen automatically (on a beta) is really an exercise in futility. Wait for the next version. This beta will
update automatically, when available, (and you OK that option.) Notification icon problems are only some of the known bugs in this
version.
