I'd advise against using this, it’s very easy to attack, i have had numerous "horror stories" over the weekend about viruses coming in and sending them to all your addy's

I used to think that about MSN, I was always cleaning my daughter's computer and she uses MSN all the time.

However, I've been using MSN for about a month now (V7.0 I think) and I haven't had one single problem.

I think the problem happens when people download stuff offered from other members. The solution's simple: don't download offered files or at least scan them with anti virus software before opening.

The latest upgrade to Antivir, a freebie AV program which I use, now does this automatically.

My friend was saying links can be sent that you don’t even need to click on and it will activate itself, he has had to throw away a SATA 80 GB hard drive

If one feels safe using, fair enough.

I'm not going to anymore though, not with a continual port open for attack.

At the end of the day Microsoft should be combating the attacks and developing more secure ways to chat
