msn zone problem

i am trying to play linksls 2000 on the zone. i can go in the lobby and enter
a room, but when the game launchs, i cant connect. ive turned off all
firewall and virus i think...ive been told it might have something to do with
opening ports, im on dsl.any suggestions plz thxs

Sounds like there's a firewall in your Router or that DSL Modem:

Call the tech support for that unit, and ask them to either setup a "DMZ"
(De-Militarized Zone which means the firewall is disabled) to bypass the
built-in firewall, or open the necessary ports in the equipment with you.

i tried everything to get gaming zone working after installin xp and service
pack2 then i created a new user sign in name and it worked .try it
