MSN Toolbar/Desktop Search

Installed msntb suite. Liked it so I started playing with program access and
defaults to go back to IE from FireFox. Started getting
"MSNTB_TOOLBAR_FULL_NAME# IS UNABLE TO LOAD ITS CONFIG FILE" message.
Neither the indexer or msn toolbar search appear in add/remove progs. Try
reinstall msn toolbar search and get "this version of msn search toolbar is
already installed on your computer". Tried to move the program files\msn
toolbar suite directory to a temp location and trick the
installer. Still same message. How can I reinstall?
 
I think you have to uninstall it first. I had the same problem when this was
first released and I THINK that is how I fixed it.

Hi BrainMan,

The 'MSN Search Toolbar' is in the Add or Remove Programs listing - make
sure you have the 'Show updates' option unchecked.

Another reason that it may not show in the Add/Remove dialog is that you are
not logged on as the same account that installed the toolbar (must be an
administrator)
