How do you get rid of the MSN spyware that keeps making
MSN your home page, instead of the home page that you have
installed?

The bugs I referred to are when you try to save the URL,
it instead displays the IE default setting. You have to
go to the Browser Hijack Settings Restore to correct this
bug's mistake.

Also, there's a bug with the 'Restore this setting now'
hyperlink in the Browser Hijack Settings Restore screen.
It does not restore the setting to the correct value in
the Restore Setting To column on the screen.

The reason you must use the Browser Hijack Settings
Restore feature to set the URLs you want to use is to
provide one with a set of sites that are known to be free
of spyware/malware and the like. If your system has been
infected and IE's settings have been changed, you don't
want the app you are trying to use to fix the problem to
use the settings that the infection/hijack has modified.
This could make it very hard for the less experienced
user to fix the problems.
